About Course

This course explores the intersection of research, policy-making, and advocacy in the 21st century. Students will learn how evidence-based research informs policy decisions, how advocacy campaigns are structured and executed, and how new technologies, data, and social media influence modern policy debates. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the policy-making process, the role of public opinion, and the strategic use of research in both local and global advocacy contexts.

Course Content

Overview: In this chapter, students will learn about the basics of policy and advocacy, their differences, and the regional context, specifically in ASEAN nations, in which these processes occur.
